If you have lost a tooth in the past or have several missing teeth and wish to restore balanced function to your mouth or do not like the appearance of the missing teeth gaps, then it may be suitable for you to have a dental implant and crown placed to replace these missing teeth.
Often the treatment is over two appointments where the first stage involves the surgical placement of the titanium implant within the bone and tissue space of the missing tooth. A time for bone healing then follows where the implant becomes integrated with the bone. This will usually take 8-12 weeks. At the second stage of treatment the titanium implant head is exposed allowing our team to close the missing tooth gap with a ceramic tooth-coloured crown. This restores function and aesthetics to your smile.
